Residence Sonia is located in an ideal position allowing to reach the skiing slopes in just a few minutes.
After having left the ski deposit at the Residence Sonia with the skis on your feet, there are only 30 m separating you from the nearest slope named "Do Ninz", a simple slope (level: light blue) which takes you to many more modern ascending facilities such a the cable car Piz La Ila. Dolomiti Superski - the largest skiing arena of the world with 1,220 km of slopes and 460 ascending facilities- is within your reach!
Every year, just a few days before Christmas, in La Villa takes place the famous World Cup giant slalom race on the well known Gran Risa: It is one of the most important and exciting skiing competitions of the world.

Guests who don't like skiing can chose among several walks through meadows and woods covered with snow, taking to idyllic places with a marvellous view on the enchanting Dolomites.
Moreover, Alta Badia offers the possibility to practice lots of other winter sports activities such as sledging, ice skating, guided excursions, swimming in the local indoor swimming pool as well as tennis at the tennis court in Corvara.
Every season of the year offers a new scenery and leaves unforgettable impressions of the fabulous atmosphere of our village and the beautiful surrounding mountains.
